Al-Sistani calls for a stand against the brutality of the Zionist entity

Baghdad: Al-Sabah,
the supreme religious authority, Grand Ayatollah Ali Al-Sistani, called on the world to stand up against the horrific brutality of the Zionist entity and prevent the persistence of its occupying forces from implementing their plans to cause further harm to the oppressed Palestinian people.
Al-Sistani said, in a statement: “These days, the Gaza Strip is being subjected to continuous bombardment and intense attacks that are rare, and which have so far resulted in more than six thousand innocent civilians being killed or wounded, and causing large numbers of them to be displaced from their homes. Large residential areas were destroyed, and bombing targeted various areas until there was no longer a safe place for people to shelter.”
He added, "At the same time, the occupation army is imposing a stifling siege on the Gaza Strip that has recently included water, food, medicine, and other necessities of life, causing the greatest harm to the people who are helpless, as if it wants to take revenge on them and compensate for its resounding loss and great failure in the confrontations." "The latter," indicating that "this is happening in full view of the whole world, and there is no deterrent or impediment. Rather, there are those who support these criminal acts and justify them under the pretext of self-defense. He continued that ending the tragedy of this honorable people - which has been ongoing for seven decades - is by obtaining their legitimate rights and removing the occupation from their lands.
" The usurped region is the only way to bring security and peace to this region, and without that, resistance to the aggressors will continue and the cycle of violence will continue to claim more innocent lives. There is no power nor strength except in God, the Most High, the Great.
