Today, Thursday (November 2, 2023), the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers discussed the mechanism for activating electronic automation in the General Tax Authority.
The secretariat stated, in a statement received by “Baghdad Today”, that “the advisory team for digital transformation in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers held the second meeting to discuss the negative phenomena and challenges of activating electronic automation in the General Tax Authority.”
She added, "The meeting, which was held in the General Secretariat building and was attended by a number of relevant authorities, during which several topics were discussed, most notably, developing a detailed work plan with timelines for completing the process, and diagnosing problems and obstacles to work in order to solve them and achieve the best results."
She continued, "The aforementioned team is working to improve the performance of the Tax Authority and facilitate the services provided to citizens during their visits to government institutions in the service of the public interest."
