    Al-Sudani's office said in a statement that the latter "met, this evening, Sunday, with the President of the [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/118981/%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%AC%D9%84%D8%B3 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A3%D8%B9%D9%84%D9%89 %D9%84%D9%84%D9%82%D8%B6%D8%A7%D8%A1/ar/]Supreme Judicial Council[/url], Mr. [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/1616724395/%D9%81%D8%A7%D8%A6%D9%82 %D8%B2%D9%8A%D8%AF%D8%A7%D9%86/ar/]Faiq Zaidan[/url], and during the meeting, a number of files and judicial procedures taken were discussed for the sake of the rule of law and to enhance security and stability in the country."



    The two sides also discussed, according to the statement, “the importance of strengthening the efforts made by the Iraqi judiciary in holding accountable those who manipulate the people’s livelihood and foreign currency speculators, with the aim of destabilizing the market, affecting the living conditions of citizens, and disrupting government plans to achieve economic and financial reform.”
