Today, Thursday (November 16, 2023), the coordination framework affirmed its respect for the principle of separation of powers and its commitment to the decisions of the judicial authority and the Federal Court, while calling on everyone to adhere to what supports the rule of law.
The framework's media center stated in a statement, received by "Baghdad Today", that "the coordination framework held its 174th regular meeting on Wednesday evening to discuss the latest developments in the country."
According to the statement, the coordination committee renewed its commitment to “the House of Representatives’ decision to fulfill the constitutional entitlement of holding local elections in the middle of next month.”
According to the statement, the framework stressed “its respect for the principle of separation of powers and complementarity between them and its commitment to the decisions of the judiciary and the Federal Court,” calling on everyone to “adhere to what supports the rule of law.”
The coordination framework called on "political partners to engage in more understandings and dialogues in a way that contributes to and enhances stability and development."
