The Ministry of Commerce addressed the security authorities to evacuate some of the central market sites that are still occupied by them, in preparation for their rehabilitation.
The Ministry’s official spokesman, Muthanna Jabbar Abdul Zahra, told “Al-Sabah”: Some markets are still occupied by the security forces until now, including the central market in Al-Mustansiriya, as we are waiting for it to be evacuated despite the many communications in this regard, indicating that it is scheduled to rehabilitate and establish commercial stores. On site for the purpose of wholesale sales of various goods, he pointed out that Al-Rasheed Market in Baghdad was referred for investment by the private sector three months ago and will be opened at the beginning of next year.
