The Parliamentary Integrity Committee formed small committees within it to follow up on corruption files in order to intensify oversight.
Member of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee, Doha Al-Qaseer, told Al-Sabah: The Integrity Committee formed multiple mini-committees to follow up on the files and according to the specializations to exercise its oversight role accurately, indicating that the committees were divided according to the files and their importance in a way that is consistent with the information and complaints available to the committee.
She added that corruption is a widespread scourge and it cannot be said that it has been completely eradicated, but rather it is constantly undermined and fought, and negligent and corrupt people are referred to the competent authorities.
