The Minister of Defense, Thabet Al-Abbasi, directed today, Saturday, that the Secretary-General of the Ministry be referred for investigation on charges of forging the seal of the Prime Minister’s Office.
A security source told Mawazine News, “Al-Abbasi directed that the hand of the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Defense, Jabbar Al-Haidari, be withdrawn and that he be referred for investigation on charges related to forging a seal allegedly issued by the Prime Minister’s Office.”
He added, "Haidari's hand was withdrawn for a period of 60 days because his remaining in the job affects the progress of the investigation process."
