The Council said in a statement, “Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/210111248/%D9%81%D9%88%D8%A7%D8%AF %D8%AD%D8%B3%D9%8A%D9%86/ar/]Fawad Hussein[/url] chaired, today, Monday, the thirty-sixth session of the Ministerial Council for the Economy, in the presence of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning, the Ministers of Finance, Trade, Agriculture, Industry, Labor and Social Affairs, the Secretary-General of the [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/1122135457/%D9%85%D8%AC%D9%84%D8%B3 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%88%D8%B2%D8%B1%D8%A7%D8%A1/ar/]Council of Ministers[/url], the Governor of the Central Bank and the President of the [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/1122135457/%D9%85%D8%AC%D9%84%D8%B3 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%88%D8%B2%D8%B1%D8%A7%D8%A1/ar/]Council of Ministers[/url].” The National Investment Authority, the Prime Minister’s advisors for economic and legal affairs, and the Undersecretary of the [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/1956186754/%D9%88%D8%B2%D8%A7%D8%B1%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%86%D9%81%D8%B7/ar/]Ministry of Oil[/url].”
The Council discussed "the items on its agenda and took appropriate decisions regarding them."
The Council hosted "the Governor of [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] to complete discussions on the two sewage projects for the Al-Nahrun and Sabaa Al-Bur regions, and the Council agreed to start these two important projects to improve the service reality of the areas on the outskirts of [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]."
The Council also decided to "reduce the price of supplying white oil to the governorates of the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] region for the winter season to be 250 dinars per liter instead of 500 dinars per liter."
The Council decided to "open the import of pharmaceutical preparations to manufacturers that own the trademark exclusively, provided that coordination is made with the [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/3503033190/%D9%88%D8%B2%D8%A7%D8%B1%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B5%D9%86%D8%A7%D8%B9%D8%A9/ar/]Ministry of Industry[/url] regarding national product protection fees."
The statement pointed out that, “With regard to the principle of cumulative voting for joint-stock companies, the Council decided to choose the voting mechanism used to elect the boards of directors of companies for the General Assembly and not to oblige companies to work on the principle of cumulative voting.”
The Council decided "to continue the [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/1956186754/%D9%88%D8%B2%D8%A7%D8%B1%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%86%D9%81%D8%B7/ar/]Ministry of Oil[/url]'s supply of liquid gas products to the plants that were designed on this basis," and the Council also approved "the exclusion of the Al Ammar Road Maintenance Project - [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/133543/%D8%B0%D9%8A %D9%82%D8%A7%D8%B1/ar/]Dhi Qar[/url] Oil Company from the controls for working with spare orders in order to connect the company with the highway."
