    Economy News-Baghdad
    On Tuesday, the Ministerial Council for Economy adopted a set of decisions related to printing textbooks and the prices of white fuel.
    A statement by the ministry stated that "Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning Muhammad Tamim, on Monday, chaired the sixth meeting of the Ministerial Council for the Economy, in the presence of the Ministers of Trade, Industry, Agriculture, Labor and Social Affairs, the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, the Chairman of the National Investment Commission, and the Prime Minister's advisors for economic and legal affairs."
    The Governor of the Central Bank, Ali Al-Alaq, gave an explanation of the results of the Iraqi delegation's visit to Washington, which included discussions of economic, trade, financial and energy issues, noting that the visit was successful and the discussions were fruitful in the interest of developing and growing the Iraqi economy.
     The Council discussed the economic issues on its agenda and took many economic decisions regarding them.
    The Council also hosted the President of the Federation of Iraqi Industries to "complete the study of the reality of the work of the industrial sector and took many decisions and recommendations that contribute to the development of the Iraqi industry, including the recommendation to the Council of Ministers as follows: Reducing the selling prices of white oil for the white elite production factories and dyes to be 400 dinars per liter, as well as a reduction The prices of the extracts for Al-Kom coal plants reach 350 thousand dinars per ton, and for the private sector 450 thousand dinars per ton, and the reduction in the prices of asphalt and asphalt S 125 for the private sector is 30% less than the price of the international publication.
    The Council also took a decision to "recommend to the Council of Ministers to involve private sector printing presses in tenders and invitations to print textbooks and examination books for the benefit of the Ministry of Education, at a rate of 50% of the holding of contracts for those tenders."
