Abdul Salam Al-Dulaimi, one of the sheikhs and notables of Anbar Governorate, revealed on Saturday that the Speaker of Parliament dismissed on charges of forgery, Muhammad Al-Halbousi, directed that an emergency meeting be held for his supporters in Jordan, hours after her secret visit through Erbil Airport.

Sheikh Al-Dulaimi said in a statement to the Maaluma Agency, “Al-Halbousi instructed to hold a meeting for his supporters in Amman, Jordan, hours after her visit to discuss the repercussions of the escalation of public positions against the central government against the backdrop of its taking of decisions that led to the overthrow of his political future and the possibility of dissolving the Taqaddum Party, which he leads.”
He added, "The Taqadum Party, led by ousted President Muhammad al-Halbousi, is going through difficult circumstances that have lost it influence in most governorates and caused its leaders to act in confusion and recklessness, which has increased the party's isolation and the decline in its popularity."
He stated, “The created president, Muhammad al-Halbousi, turned to the external player to dissuade the central government to prevent it from taking more stringent positions in pursuing the corrupt members of his party,” stressing that “national figures refused to participate in conferences prepared for this purpose in Erbil, Jordan, and Turkey.”
