    {Local: Al-Furat News} The Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Naeem Al-Aboudi, announced today, Monday, that Iraq has officially joined the International Nuclear Security Network (NSSC).
    Al-Aboudi said in a statement, a copy of which was received by {Al-Furat News}, "We announce the approval of the International Atomic Energy Agency for Iraq's membership in the international network of training and support centers in the field of nuclear security (NSSC Network)."
    The Minister of Education added, "We express our confidence that Iraq's accession to the (International Network for Nuclear Security Training and Support Centres) will be positive at the level of training, developing human resources, providing the necessary technical and scientific support, and achieving safety and quality standards in the field of nuclear energy, which serves the goals of sustainable development and will support the project." The zero-sum nuclear reactor is for scientific research for university students and will pave the way for establishing the National Center for Nuclear Security.”
