Today, Sunday, the Ministry of Planning announced the conclusion of several contracts to implement (13) service projects in eight governorates, while indicating that these projects are within the work plan of the Social Fund for Development for the current year.
A statement from the ministry, received by the “Information” agency, stated that “The Social Fund for Development signed a package of new contracts, as part of its plan for the current year 2023 to implement 13 service projects in the governorates of (Maysan, Anbar, Dhi Qar, Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf, Salah Al-Din, Wasit, and Holy Karbala). And Babylon).
He added, "Service projects for Maysan Governorate included establishing water complexes and establishing and rehabilitating an electricity network."
He pointed out that "the projects in Anbar Governorate included the establishment of electricity projects and rehabilitation. As for the projects in Wasit Governorate, they included paving rural roads in a number of villages, in addition to establishing and rehabilitating electricity networks. As for the projects in Najaf Governorate, they included establishing schools and paving roads."
The statement continued, "The projects of Salah al-Din Governorate included the establishment of water complexes and the establishment and rehabilitation of electricity networks in a number of villages, while the projects of the governorates of Babylon, Holy Karbala, and Dhi Qar included the construction of roads, water complexes, and schools."
It is worth noting that the Social Fund for Development project targets the most vulnerable and disadvantaged groups in the governorates, with the aim of improving the service, social and economic reality of the villagers by providing job opportunities, reducing unemployment and raising their standard of living.
