    Information / Baghdad..
Today, Monday, the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee confirmed its rejection of any foreign forces remaining in the country, noting that the continued American presence is a flagrant violation of Iraq’s sovereignty.

Committee member Waad al-Qaddo said in an interview with the Maalouma Agency, “The issue of the American military presence will be presented in Parliament,” pointing out that “the presence of these forces for a longer period constitutes a clear threat to Iraq’s sovereignty.”
He added, "The previous House of Representatives voted to remove all foreign forces from Iraq."
Al-Qaddo stressed, “the necessity of resolving the issue of removing foreign forces, led by the Americans, from Iraq as soon as possible.”
The representative of the Al-Sadiqoun parliamentary bloc, Rafiq Al-Salhi, had renewed his rejection of the presence of any non-combat American forces for the purposes of training or arousal in Iraq, indicating that Parliament will not stand idly by in the face of the continuation of the American presence in Iraq.
