    The head of the Committee on Security and Defense parliamentary governor al-Zamili, on Friday, the presence of eight thousand US troops in Iraq, while warning of Washington's intention to "long survival," calling on the federal government to resolve their presence.
    "There are more than 8,000 US troops currently in Iraq," Zamili said in a televised statement. "Why are these large numbers present when the war against criminal gangs ends?"
    "The United States is planning a long stay in Iraq," he said, adding that "the most important think that America came to maintain security and the political process."
    Al-Zamili pointed out that "the resistance is the one who forced the Americans to leave Iraq in 2011 and not the Iraqi negotiator," calling on the government to "resolve the issue of US military presence quickly."
