    The media director of the Tourism Authority in the Kurdistan Region said that they have made their preparations to receive tourists on the New Year’s holiday and expect 200,000 tourists to arrive in the Kurdistan Region, adding that they have coordination with the Asayish and tourism teams to process their transactions within just four minutes.[/size]
    [size=45]The Director of Media of the Tourism Authority in the Kurdistan Region, Ibrahim Abdel Majeed, said today, Monday (December 25, 2023), that “for the New Year’s holiday, which starts from today, we have made our preparations and expect the arrival of 200,000 tourists.”[/size]
    [size=45]Ibrahim Abdul Majeed explained that they held a series of meetings with tourism companies and coordinated with the Asayish at the control points at the entrances to the Kurdistan Region to facilitate the entry process for tourists. “The tourist teams’ transactions are now completed in just four minutes, and they are allowed to enter the Kurdistan Region.”[/size]
    [size=45]The Director of Media of the Tourism Authority indicated that all halls, restaurants and tourist facilities were notified this year to open their doors during the New Year’s holidays and to prepare to receive tourists. “A number of committees have been formed to prevent monopoly in prices and oblige the owners of tourist sites to announce prices in writing, and we will have a hotline that can Any tourist can use it when needed.”[/size]
    [size=45]Ibrahim Abdel Majeed stated that many celebrations will be held during the New Year holiday, and there will be public celebrations in Dohuk, Zakho and other areas, while other celebrations will be held by the private sector.[/size]
