    The Independent High Electoral Commission confirmed on Saturday that the appeals it had received were 14 and it is still receiving more appeals until the end of official working hours tomorrow, Sunday, explaining that the judicial body will decide on them ten days after it receives them from the Commission.[/size]
    [size=45]Jumana Al-Ghalai, spokesperson for the Election Commission, said, “According to Election Commission Law No. 31 of 2019, the Commission receives appeals in the Department of Political Parties and Organizations Affairs or through the governorate electoral offices for a period of three days, and on Sunday, with the end of official working hours, the phase of receiving appeals ends.” .[/size]
    [size=45]She continued: “After that, the Election Commission prepares a response list within seven days. The list must be completed with all appeals and submitted to the judicial body. Therefore, the authority reviews the list and must decide on the appeals within ten days, and the decision of the judicial body is not subject to appeal.”[/size]
    [size=45]Ghalai pointed out that “the number of appeals received by the Commission since Friday, the first day of appeals, is 14 appeals, and the Commission is still receiving appeals in the Department of Political Parties and Organizations Affairs over a period of three days, and there are no red or green appeals. Rather, these are complaints and are not in the appeals.”[/size]
    [size=45]The Independent High Electoral Commission announced, the day before yesterday, Thursday, the final results of the 2023 provincial and district council elections, while specifying the names of the winners.[/size]
