Karbala: Fadel Al-Ali,
the Holy Shrine of Hussein has contracted with international companies to implement and equip the operating theaters in the Cardiology Hospital with modern equipment. The project director of the Ataba Cardiology Hospital, Engineer Maytham Shaker, told Al-Sabah: The Strategic Projects Department in Ataba signed a contract to implement and equip the operating theaters in Khatam Al-Anbiya Hospital to treat cardiovascular diseases in Karbala Governorate with modern equipment.
He added that the contract was signed with the agent of the German company (Medic), the American company (Stress), and the German company (Rain), noting that these companies are distinguished globally and pioneers in the field of equipping and implementing operating theaters. He pointed out that the companies, in accordance with the terms of the contract, will prepare and implement anti-bacterial floors and cover the secondary ceilings with metal sheets, in addition to covering the corridors and rooms attached to the halls, as well as lighting the ceilings and preparing a special system for changing the air 40 times an hour. Shaker added that the contract includes equipping the halls with surgical lighting, in addition to a holder for medical gas and electricity sockets, as well as modern surgical beds from the American company (Stress).
