The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced today, Wednesday, the launch of guaranteed salaries for retired workers for the month of February 2024 in Baghdad and the governorates.
A statement from the ministry received by Mawazine New stated that “the Workers’ Retirement and Social Security Department has completed all procedures related to the release of the salaries of its insured retired workers,” indicating that “all differences have been disbursed to retirees whose salaries have been modified in accordance with the Workers’ Retirement and Social Security Law No. 18 of 2023.” From 12-1-2023 until the present time.”
He added, "The department continues to follow up on adjusting salaries for grievance requests submitted by retirees, and they will be included in the differences next month after amending their allocation decisions according to the retirement equation."
