The Parliamentary Health and Environment Committee revealed, on Monday, the suspension of operational budgets by the Ministry of Finance for the Ministry of Health and the rest of the institutions and content with disbursing employee salaries despite the approval of the three- year budget, stressing that ambulances cannot purchase a single liter of gasoline. .
The head of the committee, Majid Shankali, said in a press interview, “Most health institutions in the Ministry of Health, and non-health institutions in other ministries, suffer from a lack of funding, because the Ministry of Finance today only pays employees 'Salaries and has suspended the operating budget without knowing the reasons.'
Shankali added, “The Tripartite General Budget Law is effective for three years (2023, 2024, 2025) and the Ministry of Finance is arguing that the new tables have not been approved, and that these tables are mentioned in the Budget Law when there is a need,” stressing once again that “the text of the law The budget is valid for three years.
He continued, “The government and the Ministry of Finance must send financial allocations to all state institutions, especially health institutions,” noting, “Today the Ministry of Health and its institutions cannot purchase a single liter of gasoline for ambulances.”
Shankali explained, “The government must discuss this issue in the weekly sessions of the Council of Ministers and disburse funds and allocations to ministries and state institutions.”[/rtl]
