The Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed, on Sunday, that the file of salaries and operational budgets will not be affected even if the government is not formed until the end of this year.
Committee member Jamal Cougar said in an exclusive interview with Mawazine News, "Even if the government has not been formed or the budget law is prepared until the end of the year, the reality of salaries will not be affected, and there is no fear from this aspect."
Cougar indicated, "The briefing of the UN envoy, Jenin Plaschaert, about Iraq's passage in a difficult circumstance, came as a result of a word and a previous warning from Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi."
Cougar continued, "If the budget law is not approved, the exchange will continue within 1/12 of the Financial Management Law, and there is no fear about salaries and operational advances at all, because they are constants." Ended 29/R77
