    Shafaq News/ A security source in Dhi Qar Governorate reported today, Saturday, that a “major” fire broke out at the headquarters of a Chinese company in the center of the city of Nasiriyah, the center of the governorate located in southern Iraq.
    The source told Shafaq News Agency, "A large fire broke out inside 4 caravans belonging to one of the Chinese companies that is implementing the so-called (Chinese Schools Project) in the governorate," pointing out that "the causes of the fire are not known yet, but preliminary investigations indicate that it broke out due to... An electrical short circuit as a result of the rain that fell on the governorate today.”
    The source stated, “Civil Defense teams rushed to the scene of the accident and were able to extinguish the fire, without recording any significant human injuries, except for physical injuries.”
