Today, Friday, an official source in Anbar Governorate revealed that a fake company had acquired residential plots belonging to citizens overlooking the Euphrates River under the pretext of establishing a residential city.
The source told Al-Maalouma: “A number of residents of the Al-Kraishan area, east of the city of Ramadi, submitted complaints to the concerned and integrity authorities, against a Korean company that took over their lands, indicating, “It later became clear that the company is fake, and belongs to influential people from the Anbar local government since 2011.” .
He added, "Those affected have original title deeds, but their lands were confiscated illegally."
He continued, "The previous local government headed by Qasim Al-Fahdawi acquired large-area lands on the banks of the Euphrates River in the Krishan area, east of Ramadi, under the pretext of investment by a Korean company to establish a residential city, but this project turned out to be fictitious."
