    [size=45]The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced, yesterday, Tuesday, that the volume of trade exchange with China exceeded 50 billion dollars within two years, while the Chinese embassy in Iraq confirmed that the path of development will be in the interest of Iraq and China.[/size]
    [size=45]Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Planning Affairs Hisham Al-Alawi said in a press statement, “Arab-Chinese relations are important, as the volume of financial cooperation has reached about 400 billion dollars,” pointing out that “China is the largest trading partner and the exchange volume has exceeded 50 percent.”[/size]
    [size=45]He added, "The volume of trade exchange between Iraq and China during the past two years amounted to more than 50 billion dollars," noting that "there is advanced cooperation between Beijing and Baghdad in the field of oil and gas, in addition to renewable energy." He stressed “the importance of the development road project and its integration in a way that contributes to strengthening Iraq’s role in the region and increasing economic integration, which will reflect positively on the development of this sector and other non-oil sectors such as agriculture, industry, trade, tourism and services, which will help achieve the priorities of cooperation between the two countries.” While the Chinese ambassador to Iraq (Cui Wei) confirmed to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “there is great interest from Iraqis focusing on Iraqi-Chinese relations and Arab relations,” indicating that “the Iraqi side is a very important member of the League of Arab States, and we see the same The trend for the development of Chinese-Iraqi relations and Chinese-Arab relations.” He stated that “the development and Silk Roads are complementary to each other and will be in the interest of Iraq and China.”[/size]
