    Shafaq News/ The Minister of Transport and Communications in the Kurdistan Region, Ano Johar Abdoka, announced on Sunday that Internet service has been delivered via the optical cable project to 400,000 homes in the region.
    This came in a speech he delivered on the sidelines of the opening ceremony of the “Eagle Post” center, which specializes in postal and delivery affairs in the city of Erbil, the capital.
    The Minister stated in his speech, “We have been able to deliver the Internet service known as (FTTH), via optical cable, to 400,000 homes,” adding, “We are continuing to strengthen and expand the networks of this service.”
    He also pointed out that "the high-speed Internet project has reached 3,700 government departments, and we continue to expand the network to reach all districts and districts and to border crossings."
