[rtl]Member of Parliament, Zahra Al-Bajari, announced today, Monday, that Kuwait has discovered a new oil field within Iraqi economic waters, while she indicated that the area in which the field was discovered was sourced in 2014.[/rtl]
[rtl]Al-Bujari said in a post followed by "Al-Eqtisad News", "Kuwait announced the discovery of a new oil field called (Al-Nukhdha) east of Failaka Island, within Iraqi economic waters."[/rtl]
[rtl]She added, "This area was confiscated after the Amiri decision in 2014."[/rtl]
[rtl]Yesterday, Sunday, the Kuwait Oil Company announced a huge oil discovery in the "Al-Nukhadha" field east of Failaka Island, with reserves estimated at about 3.2 billion barrels.[/rtl]
[rtl]In a video clip published by the company on the "X" platform, the company's CEO, Nawaf Saud Nasser Al-Sabah, said that the reserves of the new discovery are equivalent to the country's total production in three years.[/rtl]
