The discovery of silicon metal and quartz material in the oil field of Badra

The secretary of the Wasit Governorate Council, Ghaznafar al-Batikh, announced on Monday the discovery of quartz and silicon metal within the territory of Badra oil field.
The watermelon was able to detect the quartz material and silicon metal within the territory of Badra oilfield, said watermelon in a statement reported by the official newspaper "Al-Sabah" and read by "Al-Iqtasar News".
He added that silicon metal is one of the basic chemical elements and enters the composition of transistors for the manufacture of metal chips in the computer industry, while entering quartz metal in the manufacture of sensitive devices designed to measure time with extreme precision.
Wasit province includes two oil fields, the first is Ahdab, which was discovered in 1979 and a reserve of 225 million barrels of oil, and the second field is Badra, which began pumping commercial in 2014 and reached production of 77 thousand barrels per day, was transmitted in 2009 for investment by the coalition Kazprom with Turkey's TBO and Malaysia's Petronas.
