The Minister of Water Resources stressed in a statement: "The importance of taking urgent measures to improve the agricultural sector as it is the largest consumer of water, pointing to the importance of enhancing cooperation between the organization and the ministry.
Minister Diab explained:" The ministry's procedures aimed at shifting from open irrigation to closed irrigation and lining canals using concrete quilt technology and government procedures to equip farmers with pivot irrigation systems.
