    Today, Wednesday, the head of the Parliamentary Health and Environment Committee, Majid Shankali, revealed the laws related to the health aspect that Parliament will pass during the current legislative session.

    Shankali told Al-Maalouma Agency, "The committee intends to proceed with the second reading of the Mental Health Law and vote on it, as well as the Tobacco and its Harms Law, the Medical Graduation Law and its amendments." 
    He added that the upcoming sessions will witness the first reading of the Cancer Council Law, noting that Parliament will vote on the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Law No. 50 of 2017.
    He pointed out that "these laws will work to develop the reality of health services in Iraq, stressing that the current legislative session will witness voting on a number of important laws that serve the health reality in the country." End / 25 H
