The head of the Parliamentary Legal Committee, Muhammad Anouz, revealed, on Saturday, the date of the committee's meeting in order to arrange the laws according to priority.
Anouz said, "The committee will hold its meeting next Monday in order to arrange the laws according to priority."
He added that "important laws will see the light in the coming sessions and others are awaiting birth in Parliament," noting that "the committee will discuss the priorities of draft laws related to the work of the committee and arrange them for inclusion in the council's agenda to proceed with its legislation."
The Parliamentary Services Committee had revealed earlier, the most prominent laws that it will seek to pass and legislate within the dome of Parliament during the coming period, stressing that the priorities of the committee’s work during the next stage are to legislate the retirement and social security law, which includes 90% of the segments of Iraqi society, especially women and workers.
