The Parliamentary Investment Committee expects to include 15 million citizens in the electricity collection process, with a focus on commercial areas without targeting poor neighborhoods. Committee member Diaa Al-Hindi told Al-Sabah: "There are many areas that were not included in the collection process, such as agricultural and slum areas," stressing that activating electricity collection is "an important and necessary matter." The committee member explained that "commercial areas will be at the forefront of the areas that will be included in the collection, and that the collection will be gradually implemented in the remaining areas in rotation."
