    Economy News - Baghdad
The Parliamentary Investment Committee expects to include 15 million citizens in electricity collection, with a focus on commercial areas without targeting poor neighborhoods.
Committee member Diaa Al-Hindi said, “There are many areas that were not included in the collection process, such as agricultural and informal areas,” stressing that activating electricity collection is “an important and necessary matter.”
The committee member explained that “commercial areas will be at the forefront of the areas that will be included in the tax, and the tax will be applied gradually in the remaining areas in rotation.”
