    Dozens of employees of the Education Contracts Annex in Diwaniyah Governorate crowded today, Sunday, in front of the Social Welfare Department in the governorate, to obtain approval proving that they are not included or receiving social welfare salaries, which is an additional requirement imposed by the governorate’s Education Directorate on the contracts annex to complete their contract procedures.

    Alsumaria correspondent said that a large crowd occurred in front of the Social Welfare Department in Diwaniyah Governorate, as a result of the arrival of dozens of employees of the Education Contracts Annex, after the Education Directorate asked them to sign a letter of cessation to confirm that they do not receive a salary from social protection, indicating that this large crowd led to a jostling between women and men and suffocation due to the extremely hot weather.



    One of the contract holders present in front of the department confirmed to Sumaria News that what happened in the Social Welfare Department today is a tragedy that the Education Directorate bears responsibility for. It is unreasonable for a department the size of the Education Directorate to ask people to go and bring a letter of intersection with social protection. The directorate should have sent a letter to the Protection Department to inquire about the names of beneficiaries and non-beneficiaries so as not to create chaos and exhaustion for the people. The

    Social Welfare Departments in all governorates are witnessing a great deal of momentum due to the large number of visitors, so the step of sending dozens of employees to the Education Contracts Annex is an additional momentum added to the original momentum of visitors.
