[size=52]Federal Minister of Justice meets with the Head of the Kurdistan Regional Government Representation[/size]
[size=45]Federal Minister of Justice Mr. "Khaled Shawani" met in his office today, Wednesday, September 11, 2024, Mr. "Faris Issa", Head of the Kurdistan Regional Government Representation in Baghdad.[/size]
[size=45]At the beginning of the meeting, the latest developments in the political and security situation in Iraq, the Kurdistan Region and the region were discussed.[/size]
[size=45]The results of the visit of the delegation of the Federal Ministerial Council for the Economy to Erbil were also discussed, and meetings were held with the Economic Council of the Kurdistan Region, in addition to holding discussions with senior officials in the region regarding public financial matters, especially the issue of disbursing salaries of employees of the Kurdistan Region.[/size]
[size=45]In another aspect of the meeting, the necessity of unifying and strengthening the Kurdish ranks at the current stage and its impact on the role of the region in the political process and partnership in decision-making in the federal government was emphasized.[/size]
[size=45]For his part, the Minister of Justice expressed his thanks to the Kurdistan Regional Government’s representative office for its professional performance and standing with all parties at the same distance, to strengthen relations between the ministries and institutions in the federal and Kurdistan Regional governments.[/size]
[size=45]At the end of the meeting, the head of the Kurdistan Regional Government’s representation in Baghdad stressed that the representation is doing its utmost to overcome the obstacles facing relations between Erbil and Baghdad, in order to resolve the differences in accordance with the constitution and the law in the service of the public interest.[/size]
