Al-Sudani: We will continue to implement service projects in Baghdad and the governorates

Yesterday, Wednesday, Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani inaugurated the intersection of the Aden and Sana'a Square bridges in Al-Kadhimiya, as part of the first package of projects to relieve traffic congestion in the capital, Baghdad.
The inauguration witnessed the ceremony of raising the Iraqi flag on a (44) meter long mast below the bridges, with the national anthem played by students of the College of Fine Arts. Al-Sudani stressed that "the Aden and Sana'a bridges project is the eighth completed project within the package of projects to relieve traffic congestion," explaining "the credibility of the government that it has proven through implementing service projects, and addressing the faltering and stalled projects that have been suspended for years despite the difficulty and precision of their implementation, some of which date back to the year (2005)."
The Prime Minister also stressed, saying: "We will continue to implement service projects in Baghdad and the governorates."
The Aden and Sana'a Squares bridges project is one of the most important projects to relieve traffic congestion in Baghdad, as it will contribute to reducing the traffic congestion in the two squares on the Karkh side of Baghdad. The project includes the construction of two bridges with a total length of (1550 m) and a width of (9 m to 14 m).
