The service effort completes 94 projects in Baghdad and 6 governorates

The number of projects launched by the Service and Engineering Effort Team since its formation at the end of last year reached 333 projects in Baghdad and six governorates, and it succeeded in completing a third of them. This was reported by the technical advisor to the Prime Minister, member of the service and engineering effort team, Engineer Diaa al-Din Nazem al-Kaabi, explaining in an interview with “Al-Sabah”: Since its launch a year ago, the team has completed 94 projects within Baghdad and the governorates of: Muthanna, Maysan, Diwaniyah, Salah al-Din, Wasit, and Diyala, and there are projects Its completion rates exceeded 40 percent, revealing that the team has launched projects for next year, including the provision of municipal services to all peripheral and deprived areas. He pointed out the importance of adopting technical examinations for projects through the consulting office of the Engineers Syndicate and not approving any project that is not subject to engineering examinations and standards in a way that ensures the sustainability of those projects, stressing that 2024 will be a year of completion for all projects prepared by the team.
Al-Kaabi stated that the team provides all municipal services, including establishing infrastructure in the areas that fell within the team’s efforts, paving the streets, furnishing them with lighting, and delivering potable water, in addition to rehabilitating schools and providing them with school trips, in addition to rehabilitating three hospitals in Baghdad, Muthanna, and Maysan.
