    21:26:47 27/6/2016| (Voice of Iraq) - Baghdad , theBaghdad Provincial Council confirmed on Monday his intention tocoordinate with therest of thestakeholders in thecapital to develop aschedule of projects that are in line with the private Cabinet decision to pay dues Contractors, while between that there are 750 stalled projects in the capital, revealed the possibility ofincluding strategic projects "is one of his priorities , " although the completion ratio "did not exceed thirty percent." said Vice President of the Council, Atwan Atwani, in aninterview to the(long - Presse), said that " the last cabinet directives on payments tocontractors came the sequel to theresolution No. 347 ,which class projects according to thepercentage ofcompletion ", noting that" theprovincial council will coordinate with the administration of the province and the Municipality ofBaghdad to develop a schedule ofprojects that are inline with the cabinet decision. "He added Atwani, that" the Council isconsidering thepossibility ofincluding thestrategy is one of the priority projects , although the percentage ofcompletion where no exceed thirty percent , "noting that among them" the four hospitals in Fudhaliyah, people, freedom and Nu'man. "explained vice president of theBaghdad Provincial Council, that" delayed hospital project was not aresult of thereluctance or problems where but to delay itsimplementation inconjunction with the financial crisis ,"pointing that there are "other projects within the priorities of the Council ,such as those related to water, sanitation and schools." in turn, said a member of the project Committee of the Board, Mohammed Jaber, said in aninterview to the(long - Presse), said that "nearly 750 projects incomplete in Baghdad , " noting that "deliverables ranging from 5 to 95 percent rates."said Jaber, that "priority will begiven to projects that reach ratios achieved about 90 percent and then projects that exceed eighty percent , " adding that " theCouncil will no longer be theowners of a few achievement ratios anything projects."He said a member of the project Committee in theBaghdad Provincial Council, said : "it isalso about theconsent of theentrepreneurs to becompleted after getting 50 percent of their dues , " stressing that " theCouncil will not deal with contractors who refuse to complete the project in theevent of receiving a portion of their benefits." The appearance ofMohammed Saleh, financial advisor to the Prime Minister, it was revealed on Sunday (26 June , the current 2016), about the existence and payable to thecontractors dues of seven trillion and 600 billion dinars edema government, and the existence of a governmental mechanism for thepayment of five trillion dinars from those dues through National Sindh, andexpected to be paid all contractors dues during the next 2017, while theIraqi Business Council confirmed that the payment will include four thousand stalled project. he was amember of theCommittee oneconomy and investment parliamentary announced, in ( the15th of June thecurrent 2016), for the provision offinancial liquidity in government banks to pay thedues of contractors by 40%, while stressing that theremainder of thedues will belaunched after thecompletion of theaudit of projects by the BSA. the Council ofMinisters approved in ( the 14th of June the current 2016), the launch of dues contractors by 50 % of the total dues as a down payment, and to report theimplementation of the first chapter of the general budget in 2016 the House of Representatives for. the Council ofMinisters decided in ( the 19th of April 2016), theformation of a committee headed by Minister ofplanning and themembership of thegovernor of theIraqi Central Bank and economic advisor to thePrime Minister and the Chancellor financial to thePrime Minister and the Undersecretary of the Ministry ofFinance, Undersecretary of Technical planning, holds the structural controls and thecompletion of thedistribution ofbenefits from contractors through the process ofdeveloping government bonds, and submit its recommendations to the Prime Minister for approval. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
