25 banks waged proceeded yesterday to reduce the exchange rates of the dollar to 1183 dinars to the citizens and 1178 dinars to the documentary credits. The head of the Association of private banks in Iraq, Adnan Chalabi's "Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network," that this measure comes to support CBI measures aimed at stabilizing the foreign exchange rate. The Association of Banks announced last week about the high number of banks that the reduction from 3 to 5 banks civil yesterday. Central bank announced in a statement about receiving a letter from the Association includes a commitment solemnly announced previously Initiative 3 banks civil to sell the dollar to citizens at a lower price . statement described the initiative as representing normal behavior which show most of our banks to stand with the trends of monetary policy and the central bank's keenness with those banks to support the Iraqi economy and raising the efficiency of financial instruments and cash
