    parliament voted last Saturday, on the law during the session chaired by President Salim al - Jubouri , was attended by 226 members of the majority decision upheld. According to Article 14 - of a law passed by the House of Representatives that "prohibits the import, manufacture and sale of alcoholic beverages." 
    Violation of this law , a fine of between 10 to 25 million dinars, according to the law. The House Speaker Salim al - Jubouri has revealed, Monday, that paragraph alcohol ban received a majority vote, with most likely to appeal to that paragraph during the next week. A statement by the Office of the President, received a(long - Presse) a copy of it, that " the President of the Republic Fuad Masum is following with great interest the various reactions that have faced the House legislation to the law of imports of the municipalities in thelast week."

" In addition, officials in the Kurdistan region of Iraq confirmed Wednesday their rejection of the decision of the Iraqi parliament to ban the import, sale and consumption of alcohol, stressing can not be applied in the region.
