{Baghdad} Euphrates News announced that the Ministry of Health and the Environment, on Friday, Iraq's transition to environmentally-friendly industries, pointing to set up courses to raise awareness of the importance of the International Convention for the Protection of the Ozone Layer.
The general director of outreach department of environmental and media Ameer Ali Hassoun, said in a statement the agency {Euphrates News}, a copy of it, that "environmental awareness she had one of the important paragraphs stipulated by the International Convention for the Protection of the Ozone Layer, which entered into force and the endorsement of the government to join them . " .
He added, "The Ministry of Health and Environment began to establish training courses for cadres of its directorates in the provinces of Kurdistan Region and theprovinces of Kirkuk, Salahuddin and Nineveh, to raise awareness of the Iraqi laws relating to this Agreement and legislation."
He pointed out that " the Iraqi Special legislation environmental awareness will help to implement the terms of the agreement , which joined with Iraq and entered into force , " explaining that "Iraq has moved the traditional Besnaath to environmentally friendly industries in accordance with the provisions contained in the Protection of the Ozone Layer agreement."
It pointed out that " the technical departments in the Ministry of Health and Environment had begun processing workshops and factories for the production and maintenance of coolers and refrigerators with special equipment gases conforming to environmental standards, as well as prevent the import and production of devices that work on harmful ozone layer gases" .anthy
