    [size=45]TikTok organized a workshop in Baghdad, with the aim of raising awareness and educating the platform community about the latest digital safety tools and mechanisms and related challenges, as part of its ongoing efforts to raise awareness about the importance of safety in the digital world.[/size]
    [size=45]In the workshop, which was attended by a group of media professionals and content creators, the TikTok team reviewed a set of advanced security tools, focusing on the “Family Account Linking” feature, which aims to enable parents to provide a safe digital environment for their teenage children and link their accounts directly to make the experience more secure.[/size]
    [size=45]According to the platform, this feature includes parents by adjusting privacy settings and specifying the permitted usage times, which ensures the protection of teenagers’ privacy.[/size]
    [size=45]“By focusing on the safety features we are developing day after day, we are demonstrating our unwavering commitment to keeping TikTok a safe, interactive platform that provides a positive space for all its users, especially teenagers,” said Malak Jaafar, TikTok’s Director of Outreach and Partnerships for the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey. “Demonstrating creativity and freedom of expression does not conflict in any way with the procedures and policies we put in place to maintain the safety of use, and this is where the intelligence lies in managing and developing these policies.”[/size]
