The Lebanese army is shelling heavily the positions of "Dahesh" on the border with Syria

The artillery shelled the Lebanese army in densely populated areas. The sites of "Ra'ad" in the fruit orchards and the head of Baalbek.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese army commander, General Joseph Aoun, visited the barracks of the Border Protection Regiment in Ras Baalbek, where he was briefed on all preparations for the anticipated battle against "Daash".
General Aoun, who arrived on board a military helicopter to the Lebanese-Syrian border area, assured the officers and members of the regiment that "the whole country trusts in their ability to resolve the battle and provides absolute support" to them.
Observers interpreted the visit and the statements of the Lebanese army commander as an explicit reference to finalizing a plan to liberate the rugged mountainous region on the Lebanese-Syrian border, the last remnant of the remnants of the "Dahesh" elements.
A few weeks ago, the militants of the Lebanese Hizballah were able to expel the militants of the Fatah al-Sham (the former victory) from the parallel platoon surrounding Arsal, which is two-thirds of the area still occupied by the Da'ash elements. Sf
