    [rtl]Trend Press / Agencies[/rtl]
[rtl]Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Moscow will continue to support the "joint action plan" on Iran's nuclear program, the nuclear agreement signed in Vienna between Iran and the six countries (America, Britain, France, Russia, China and Germany).[/rtl]

[rtl]Lavrov made the announcement during a meeting of foreign ministers of the six countries and Iran, held in New York City on Wednesday, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.[/rtl]

[rtl]The meeting was called by the EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mugherini.[/rtl]

[rtl]During the meeting, the last report of IAEA Director-General Yukiya Amano was reviewed, which confirms Iran's strict compliance with its obligations under the nuclear agreement.[/rtl]

[rtl]"This creates favorable conditions to ensure full implementation of the opportunities opened by this agreement in the economic, political and security fields," the Russian Foreign Ministry said.[/rtl]

[rtl]In turn, US Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, that Iran complies with the provisions of the agreement on the nuclear program. "It is difficult to say that the expectations of the participants in this agreement have been achieved. Perhaps the technical aspects - yes, but aspirations in a broader context, no. " According to the agency "RIA Novosti".[/rtl]

[rtl]Tillerson said President Donald Trump was carefully considering whether the agreement on Iran's nuclear program was in the interests of the United States. "The president said he made a decision but did not discuss it with anyone," he said.[/rtl]

[rtl]The Iranian President, Hassan Rowhani, said in his speech yesterday before the session of the General Assembly of the United Nations, that his country pledged not to be the first to start violating the nuclear agreement. "It would be very unfortunate that this agreement is in vain, because of the irresponsibility of newcomers to the world of politics: because the world will lose a wonderful opportunity," he said. Rouhani promised to respond with firmness and determination if any party violated this agreement.[/rtl]

[rtl]Iran and the Group of Six (the United States, Russia, China, Britain, France and Germany) reached an agreement in mid-July on Tehran's nuclear program and signed a work program called the Joint Action Plan.[/rtl]
