| [ltr]04/10/2017 12:00 am Baghdad / Al-Sabah The House voted on Tuesday on two parliamentary resolutions on the referendum of the Kurdistan region and ended the first reading of one bill. Speaker of Parliament Dr. Salim al-Jubouri stressed the importance of preserving the unity of Iraq and stressing the commitment to invite the supreme religious authority on dealing with the referendum in the Kurdistan region. He pointed out that "the Council is about to send a query to the Federal Court to clarify the position of those who violated his commitment and the constitutional provisions relating to the preservation of the unity of Iraq and the section that he performed before the Iraqi people." The Council voted on a parliamentary resolution to adopt the principles of the sermon of the Supreme Religious Reference on the referendum of the Kurdistan region at the request of 70 deputies. The decision also adopted the adoption by the House of Representatives of the principles and contents contained in the speech of the Supreme Referendum on the referendum of the Kurdistan region.
