    Experts from the World Economic Forum predicted that some 5 million people in the world would lose their jobs in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, whose features and challenges are becoming apparent. "This is not a big figure compared to what was expected in the past," said Saadia Zuhaidi, who is responsible for the Gender Equality and Employment in the Forum.
     
    This was during the annual meetings of the Global Agenda Councils, which was launched in Dubai yesterday, with the participation of 700 scientists and experts from 75 countries organized by the UAE government in partnership with the World Economic Forum (Davos) to discuss the challenges of the future of the world in a range of development, Political, through 35 councils, discussing the future of the world under the "globalization of knowledge in a cracked world", and fears of scenarios about a hidden e-war.
     
    The challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Block Qin, Innovation and Entrepreneurship are key themes within the agenda of the second session of the Councils in an attempt to develop practical solutions to these future challenges.     World Economic Forum president Klaus Schwab did not deny that "there is turmoil in the world under the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which will have a major impact on business models, economy, society and individuals." He pointed out that "Future Councils established by the Forum in partnership with the UAE to develop collective initiatives contribute to accelerate the positive results of the Fourth Industrial Revolution."

    Despite the challenges expected in the fourth industrial revolution and artificial intelligence, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Future Mohammed Al-Gergawi said that "the Fourth Industrial Revolution will have a significant impact and significant changes in societies and economies." "The unprecedented change that the fourth industrial revolution will bring in sectors and business models supported by artificial intelligence and the effectiveness of machine learning will double the annual growth of the country's economy and increase the efficiency of the labor force by 40 percent by 2035. "

    "Most countries, governments, institutions and individuals, including sovereign funds, are turning to the digital technology, industrial intelligence, robotics and IV technologies," noted Stephan Mergenthaler, head of the Knowledge and Analysis Platform. He did not deny that «many countries in the Arab region began to develop its infrastructure, in preparation for the wave of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, so that it can overcome the digital divide with the developed world, as the world is still on its way to enter this stage».

    Participants in the meetings emphasized that some of the Forum's councils will focus on ways of educating and developing the youth in the region to confront different methods of technology-based work, pointing out that the UAE is an initiative to train one million Arab young people on programming, on which the next generation will depend on work. They explained that one of the challenges faced by the fourth industrial revolution, cyber attacks and scenarios of hidden e-war, the responsibility for the use of robots in war in the event of errors affecting human life, and the need to develop laws or rules of war based on the existing technical reality.

    "The results of the work of the World Future Councils and their outputs constitute a platform for the world to look into the future and the basic material to be presented at the next World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, early next year," Schwab said.
