    The Commission of Integrity and the Ministry of the Interior agreed on the importance of signing a memorandum of understanding to facilitate the implementation of the arrest decisions issued against those accused of corruption crimes, while the two sides agreed on the need to accelerate the pace of work to overcome the difficulties of their joint work.

    For his part, Minister of Interior Qassim al-Araji said that "the country today is facing a new challenge that follows the defiant challenge of the terrorist, the elimination of corruption, which requires all of us extraordinary efforts, indicating that the Ministry of the Interior is a good supporter of the efforts of the Integrity Commission and other national regulatory bodies, and that its doors are open to employees and staff With a view to broadening cooperation frameworks; serving the public interest ".
     
    The views of the head of the Integrity Commission and the Minister of the Interior echoed the need to reconsider the proposal to abolish the offices of the Inspectors General, as it leads to negative results on the public office, as well as the difficulties and obstacles that will impede the work of the ministries and institutions of the State.
