Symposium to promote the use of gas as fuel for cars

He pointed out that the symposium stressed the need to invest successful international experiments and advanced scientific innovations in the natural gas sector, and showed that 70 percent of the sources of environmental pollution currently monitored in the cities belong to the means of transport, so the best solution to this problem lies in the use of natural gas as fuel because it is environmentally friendly. "The benefits of natural gas as an alternative to vehicle fuel and other uses are not confined to the environmental and health side, but to the economic side and contribute to reducing the cost of consumption," said the director of Karbala Gas Filling Company, Engineer Daoud Salman Nayef. He pointed out that the company has already succeeded during the past year to try to convert dozens of vehicles to work with natural gas, as well as the establishment of a number of projects to install liquid gas network systems for residential complexes, houses, hotels and service facilities.
