    Information / Baghdad ..
BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Iraq's president, Salim al-Jubouri, said on Monday that Iraq was prepared to help bring peace to Syria and stressed Iraq's keenness not to interfere in the affairs of other countries.
"Our approach to the Syrian crisis was that the people's choices must be respected, and we do not want to interfere in the affairs of those countries, or we will be dragged into conflict," Jubouri said in an interview with Al-Ghad newspaper, .
"We are ready to help bring peace," Jubouri said, accusing regional countries of using Iraq as their yardstick.
On his position on the Gulf crisis and the Saudi-Qatari conflict, Jabouri said that "our approach is not to be part of the axis of conflict, and we want to solve the issues of peace and understanding, away from the language of arms, which is paid by the people." Ending / 25
