Sources: Abdul Mahdi is about to submit an incomplete government within three days
At a time when Abdul Mahdi still has two weeks to present his government to parliament to gain confidence, informed sources revealed what is being circulated that "the Prime Minister-designate is about to submit an incomplete government to the political blocs within three days."
The sources said that "the reason for the lack of a complete government line is due to the contradiction between the vision of Abdul Mahdi and his desire to move towards the selection of new ministers, whether through the electronic window or what is nominated by the blocks, and the will of many of the political blocs to retain some of the old ministerial faces."
"The political blocs insist on the survival of some faces in the ministries on the pretext of success during the tenure of the ministry, or work to provide candidates for the Prime Minister agreed, including those who entered through the electronic window," according to the Middle East.
The Iraqi Prime Minister-designate Adel Abdul-Mahdi continues his consultations with leaders of the political blocs, on the formation of the next government.
