Washington imposes new sanctions on Iran that include five Iranian companies
The United States has listed five UAE-based companies in the list of sanctions against Iran.
The US Treasury Department, in a statement on its website, reported imposing sanctions on 5 companies based in the UAE for entering into deals with an Iranian oil company.
The ministry stated that the sanctions list included "Alam Althrwa", "Alphabet International DMCC", "Alwaneo", "Petro Grand FZE" and "Swissol Trade DMCC".
