Erbil (Kurdistan 24) - The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, received a phone call from the British Minister of State for the Middle East, South Asia and the United Nations, Lord Tariq Ahmed.
During the call, the two sides discussed the Iranian attack on the Kurdistan Region.
The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government thanked the British Minister of State for his strong condemnation of the attack launched by Iran on the Kurdistan Region, and both sides described the attack as a flagrant violation of the country's sovereignty.
The British Minister of State, Lord Tariq Ahmed, expressed his condolences for the killing of civilians in the attack, and renewed Britain's support for the Kurdistan Region and Iraq in general, and the two parties agreed to be in permanent contact.
